Welcome to the FIRST Writer Groupie Podcast! The inaugaral. The In-aug-ur-al. Well, the first one anyway.

Now you may wonder why I would want to produce a podcast for writers when there are already so many out there in podcast land. And I might add, good ones. Ones with standing and excellent following. Well, it’s like this: I believe it’s because I think I have something to say. I believe that I can contribute my own brand to this particular industry. I love it to pieces. I have been a part of it for a lot of years. It’s something that defines me and something that I believe everyone can benefit from. Writer, reader, and curious surfer alike.

And if you didn’t already know, I have an established podcast here on WG for readers. It’s a continuing story called One Time: The Adventures of Sarah. It’s out on Kindle now and the author, Marcia Hylander Black, would love for you to get a copy. I think you should too. So you can follow along when I am podcasting it. And yes, you will see a lot of blunders. I am not a pro at podcasting.

So back to the why of a podcast for writers. I think writing is a lonely endeavor for the most part. Writers need constant input. New energy and ideas feed our creativity and without it we run dry.
