Afterglow of book releases and what’s next
Sometimes, when we release a book into the world, we experience a sense of loss. There is so much to do leading up to the release, and the afterglow is somewhat underwhelming.
If this has happened to you, leave me a comment about your experience. I just feel a little tired, a little lazy, and yet, rejuvenated. I am not finished with books, you know. It’s the what’s next that is keeping me going, right now.
There’s another one coming out soon!!! I will give you a little reprieve for now, from all my release yelling, but just know that the next book in the Mt. Moriah series has already begun its round to beta readers. In fact, by the time this posts, I will be deep into the outlining process for BOOK THREE!
Yes, there really is no end to the process. It feels a little sad, a little morose, once a book with all of its hoopla has been laid to rest, but the excitement is only simmering to build into a boil once more with the next book.
So I’m thrilled with the responses I have gotten for the series thus far, and I hope you are enjoying In the Holler with Hope and Joe’s story.
I am also going on a mini-vacay soon to the Mid South to visit with family and friends and I will be out of pocket for a few days. I hope you all mind yourselves while I am gone!
Also, I have free download codes for the Shannon Wallace Mysteries audiobooks if anyone is interested in snagging one. All I ask is for a review to be given in exchange.
