Time to reflect

Maybe it’s the weather, I mean, it is winter and this is the season for Seasonal Affective Disorder, but I have been really reflective lately. Do you ever just sit and think about events in your life that you treasure? I sometimes go back over events that I regret too, but those I usually let go of pretty quickly. You cannot change the past, and dwelling on bad events or mistakes will not benefit you.

I believe that it is far better to recall and consider good events in your life.

A past memory that I cherish is the first week, first post of my life when my first book was published. There was something magical in that! Everyone I knew congratulated me, and many bought the book. I have often heard that writing a book is like birthing a baby-and that is pretty true. You work so hard, and when you have the project in your hand, you are so proud.

I will always cherish the time of life that began with the publication of that book. It has been a long ride, and many pages afterwards, but totally worth it.

What past event or memory can you recall that makes you proud?
