Substantial Critique or Edit: How do you COPE?
It is pretty inevitable that if you write anything longer than a grocery list, you will be faced at some point with a substantial edit or critique of your work. Sometimes when I am undergoing this trial by fire, I sort of wish I HAD written a grocery list. Critique Thursday
Hello and welcome to another wicked Thursday. Yes, it is critique day. I meet with my face-to-face critters today and believe me, it feels sorta scary. Last time, they kicked my butt. They ripped LRATSK into fifty pieces of fray and handed it back to me with instructions to write it again. I know that sounds like these ladies are terrible, mean, spiteful, horrible creatures from another world, but no, you would be wrong.
