How Kim got her creative drive My first real book was published when I was in my forties. Somewhere between grade school and the mid-life crisis, I became a real writer. HOW DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN? Well, first of all you have to answer in the affirmative to that creative urge-that nudge that says, “Hey, why not?” For me, I perused book stores like a homeless person eyes shelters.
