Sunday Ruminations

What is it about Sunday that makes us all want to chat on our blogs about things that are shaking and moving our world? Is it the Sunday morning programs on television? I mean I watch Sunday Morning (the program) on CBS without fail (unless I am sick in bed).

Or is it something else…something more like a simple baring of our soul?

I am going to go that route this time, at any rate.

My soul needs baring.

I am writing romance. Yes, dear reader, ROMANCE. Not erotic, not historic, but more with a woman’s fiction bent. All about emotions and relationships and how they are not always perfect.

Why romance? Well, it’s something that I sort of cut my teeth on. I read more Harlequin’s than anything else in my youth. They were the only sort of romance out there at the time. And everyone loves romance…don’t they?

Look at the popularity of such books as the Twilight series, 50 Shades of Gray, and even those Charlotte Bronte or Jane Austin books (which I cannot bring myself to read).

Oh would that I could write such popular stuff!! Well, bear with me dear reader. I will be bringing such a lovely tome to your bedside table soon. Maybe it will release on a Sunday…right after I watch my show.
