#RSW weekly roundup
Ready. Set. WRITE!
Ready. Set. WRITE! is a summer writing intensive that encourages goal-setting and accountability, and provides an opportunity for us to cheer each other on wherever we’re at in our writing—planning, drafting, revising, or polishing. This year, your RSW hosts are Alison Miller, Jaime Morrow, Erin Funk, and Katy Upperman. If you’ve yet to officially join, there’s still time! Find the details HERE.
My goals for this intensive summer writing plan are here.
So how did I do?
How I did on last week’s goals
As I think I have mentioned, I am currently a part of the Magic Spreadsheet. The Magic Spreadsheet is a simple online tool to help you build a habit of writing at least 250 words a day. And so getting in my word count is easy. I am totally motivated. SOOO motivated that the MS has now told me that I have done this so well, I must now LEVEL UP! I am so excited! New word count goal is 495 a day. Please cross your fingers and toes.
My goals for this week
Keep my writing going, keep my reading going, and try try again on the exercise thing.
A favorite line from my story OR one word/phrase that sums up what I wrote/revised
Jenny paused in her place-setting and gazed up at him. “Did you ever consider that might be why she has an attitude? Maybe she’s waiting for you to resurrect something from your life before-and you keep refusing. Women get touchy over endless plundering of their hearts.”
The biggest challenge I faced this week
Once again, time and motivation. I went out of town, I needed to be good and eat right and exercise and write and all I wanted to do was read.
Something I love about my WIP
The new work in progress is one where I am excising emotion from the characters and I am really enjoying it.
How did you do this week with your Ready. Set. WRITE goals?

Eating right is something I’m terrible at. Put a salad or a burger in front of me and I’d choose the burger. Multiple times. *face palm*
