Do you like quick updates and fast reads?

I keep hearing that quick, personal posts on writer’s blogs is all the rage…is that true? Do you want more of what I am doing, rather than what I know?
I try to have a variety of things on the blog to keep you interested and coming back. I hope to provide you with some cool photos soon of the places that inspired the setting of South Lake Mississippi for the Shannon Wallace mysteries.
I personally DO like photo posts. They are easy to scroll through, share, and read the tiny blips underneath. Heck, I don’t have any more time than you do!
So…this is one of those quickie, informative posts, that is more about me than anything else. I promise a really good one later.
Just a quick update – there are some new things going on here at the blog. I have added a click to tweet feature that I hope you will find helpful.
[Tweet “What new stuff is on Kim Smith, author’s site?.”]
And I now offer a free excerpt when you sign up for the Zanies newsletter. It’s the beginning part of an apocalype story I have been working on.
Good right?

Quick update on the latest from Kim Smith
I am working hard on formatting book two in the Shannon Wallace mysteries, and hope to finish that this weekend. I will be out of town this weekend so I hope it provides a little downtime as I travel.
Soon, I will add a few more cool plugins as I continue to restore the site from the hacking it took a few months ago. I am going to restore quite a few more of the podcasts, too. If you haven’t had a chance to listen to the latest, you can do that over at Writer Groupie’s new site at http://www.writergroupie.net.
I hope you will subscribe to the podcast at iTunes and over at Youtube for the latest videos.
That’a about it for now, Zanies, hope you have a great rest of the week.
