Mini-con wrapup

The MINI-CON was a HIT!
Good morning, friends!
Today is the day after the mini-con that my mastermind group, Desoto Writers Alliance, put on at the library. It was SO MUCH FUN! If you were a part of this event, thank you from the bottom of my heart for attending. It was the first of our efforts to bring together writers, aspiring and otherwise. We had members of some local author groups in the crowd and it was so wonderful to see writer buddies that we don’t get to see (aside from online) very often.
Many of you came up to me afterwards and said how much you enjoyed my workshop with Linda Rettstatt and I thank you for that. Linda and I are great conversationalists, and so our approach to teaching anything writing-related comes out the same.
I received many emails for the newsletter, and as promised, someone is going to get a $10 Amazon gift card for signing up. I will announce it via email to the winner as soon as I can go through everything and pull a name.
And as soon as I can get all the photos uploaded, I will do a pictorial post of the day’s festivities. It was such a fun day. I enjoyed talking to you all. If I missed you, please do not hesitate to hit me up online, here, or on social media.
I am on Facebook, Twitter, Triberr, Tumbler, and Pinterest, and I have an Instagram account but I mostly use that to keep up with my grown kids who prefer it to FB and the other sites.
And while I am on the subject of social media, I promise a new podcast is coming as soon as I can find time to record it, produce it, and upload it. If you still haven’t listened to Writer Groupie Podcast, go here http://www.writergroupie.net
Again, thank you all so much for the wonderful response to our mini-con event. I am nearly positive we will be doing another one!
