Getting Published
I counted it up and as of this date, I have six full-length novels, one novella, and one heckuva lot of short stories to my credit. Well, me and Kaycee Conners. That other side of me.
And what do I have to show for all that work?
A writing voice. A bunch of published words, albeit some not so worthy, and a great desire to stretch out and see if I have improved enough to get an agent, and maybe a writing life worth my efforts.
Not saying self-publishing isn’t a good way to go, it is. But when it is time to pay bills, I need more money than the paldry amount coming in from a job that is totally NOT what I want to do with my life, and the pittance I get from current sales. (that’s another rant) I admit it, my work has been out there in the Interwebs long enough that now about everyone who has ever wanted to read them, has read them.
Time to break out and produce new work, and try try again.
