Critique Thursday

Hello and welcome to another wicked Thursday. Yes, it is critique day. I meet with my face-to-face critters today and believe me, it feels sorta scary. Last time, they kicked my butt. They ripped LRATSK into fifty pieces of fray and handed it back to me with instructions to write it again.

I know that sounds like these ladies are terrible, mean, spiteful, horrible creatures from another world, but no, you would be wrong. They are two sweet, loving, adorable Christian ladies who do the world a great service just by being in it.

One sings with several great pro singing groups (*they are about to embark on Handel’s Messiah*) and writes hard-hitting romantic suspense. The other one was once the President of the local RWA group and researches her historical romance books with a keen eye. They both are good writers and know their stuff.

They are my loves, my friends, my critiquers and believe me, if I deserve a good swift kick, they will administer it quickly. If you do not have critters like mine, you should find some. They will not allow lazy writing, bad research, or goofy grammar.

Happy Critique Thursday!
