Way back in 2008, I finished my first book, and submitted it to a small publisher. This was before Kindles, and ebooks were still something to be reckoned with, but about that time they were beginning to come to the surface. This publisher did offer them and was one of the reasons I chose to publish with them. My sales were unknown to me. I got small royalties at first, but then, nothing. Hiking Trip part two-The Hill

So, I left you last time as we went into the woods. It was a major event in my life. My very first hiking trip, and at a middle age where most people are just getting comfy in their recliners with the remote. I decided to heck with living cozy, I want adventure. Well, let me tell you, I found it. Even Darby, my little Chihuahua questioned my sanity (see the image-she is asking me what am I thinking) I told her it would be okay, and we would have a good laugh over this event in days to come.

Well, I am going to have to start sharing my journal with you soon, friends. I am getting out in the world and trying new things. This week: hiking with my son. Yes, this is a great idea. No, this may not be a good thing for me. Yes, I am invested in this plan. No, I am not sure about what I am doing. Yes, I will keep you posted. Hence, the title of my post today. I write in a journal every day pretty much. Even when I am not posting in here, I am posting in my
