Resurrect the WOOLLY MAMMOTH!!!

Resurrect them, I say! And how that statement pertains to my writing life 🙂 So, you have likely, by now, heard about the scientists who are trying to bring back the woolly mammoths from extinction. They left our world around 1700 BC although some people have timed it at 10,000 years ago. And they want to bring it back, because, well, why not? We need to resurrect these behemoths to reverse global warming. Or so they say… But–you ask–what has that to do with your writing, Kim Smith? Everything. And nothing. What kind of hobbies do you have?
A question I hear a lot from readers I guess it goes without saying that I am a writer so reading is a favorite pastime of mine. This writer loves all sorts of books, including romance, fantasy, historical, sci-fi, horror and mystery, so, of course, I try to write in all genres, too. Hiking Trip: Part one-Into the Woods

Remember how I said this would be a good thing for me? Well, who wouldn’t want to get away “off the grid” for a few days? It totally was a wonderful experience and a chance to spend quality time with my son and his best friend. They have trail names, Rambo and Bucko. I will be happy to just call them, my fellas. They sure did take good care of me. No matter how prepared we think we are for such a calling as a wilderness experience, we really can’t be. I thought I was
The Journal Of Kim Smith

Well, I am going to have to start sharing my journal with you soon, friends. I am getting out in the world and trying new things. This week: hiking with my son. Yes, this is a great idea. No, this may not be a good thing for me. Yes, I am invested in this plan. No, I am not sure about what I am doing. Yes, I will keep you posted. Hence, the title of my post today. I write in a journal every day pretty much. Even when I am not posting in here, I am posting in my
