What I am doing today
Usually on Sundays, I am pretty lazy and easy going. Not today. Today, I have to get Christmas into full gear. WE ONLY HAVE 9 DAYS LEFT!!!!! *Insert racecar engine roar* This is my list for today: 1. Eat. Yes, sometimes I do that-but on days that are way busy, I have to remind myself. 2. Buy groceries. I need to buy stuff to make cookies for tomorrow at work. We always have a treat day after a period end close and tomorrow is the day and it is all about holiday cookies/goodies. Bring your best, the director said.(I have

Get over it
So, let’s discuss the nature of getting published by the big world. That bright and shiny world called NY publishing. Quite a different animal from doing it yourself. It’s hard to get their attention. It’s mostly, “thanks for asking, but no our lists are full”. I feel sort of like how can a lowly author ever know when it is a good time to submit, if the lists are always full? When I was at the festival recently, the bathrooms were always full. Now that sort of ‘always full’ I get, right? But this full list thing, argggg. But really?
