But, no, not business writing! Here I am again, writing on my blog for the third time this week. What is WRONG with me???? (I think it is insomnia, really) But I am committed to putting out some new content this year. That includes blogging, books, etc. So, hang with me for a minute. So, you have likely heard (even from me!) that writing is not just art. It is also a business by many these days. They are turning out books on regular release dates, marketing (which really means spending money they haven’t made yet) and promoting their work

Writing questions-jump on board!
Good day mates! It’s a cool 70 degrees this morning, and I am in my writing chair. The problem is – wait for it – PLOT. I cannot for the life of me figure out this plot. It started out with a plan and a resolution, but once I began writing it, the darn thing went off in a strange direction and now I cannot wrangle it back into the fold. It’s so concrete. Catching up with my readers and fans
Well, last time you visited, dear readers, you were reading all about my adventures in the woods of Alabama. There has not been a lot of exciting things going on since then to be honest, but I endeavor to enlighten you on what all has transpired however boring. So, October was pretty warm here as weather goes for fall. I didn’t even have to run my air/heat much. Which is always a good thing, but I have a new HVAC unit and wanted to test drive it. Hiking Trip Part Four- the day hike-cemetary
The day hike: the cemetary Last time I left you with the incident that created my trail name. Stinger. Haha. Well, it sort of fits. Hiking Trip: Part one-Into the Woods
Remember how I said this would be a good thing for me? Well, who wouldn’t want to get away “off the grid” for a few days? It totally was a wonderful experience and a chance to spend quality time with my son and his best friend. They have trail names, Rambo and Bucko. I will be happy to just call them, my fellas.
