In case you have never attended a con, there is a lot to do and see. I have been a lot of years, and so many times never even go into anything but the writer’s track. This part of MSC is something not EVERY con has, so if I ever go to another one, I will partake of all the other festivities. But I digress… So, the first workshop I attended was Elements to becoming a successful Author. It was held at 9:00 AM and as you may imagine had a lot of Monster Energy drinks in attendance. I had a ton o’ fun today at Mid South Con. There were a lot of things to see and people to meet. I attended quite a few workshops too, and there will be more info from that to come soon. I got my author copy this weekend (Tales of the Unseelie Court) and I gotta tell you the books are just outstanding! I hope you will go to your favorite bookstore or even to a con coming soon near to you and get yours!
Stuck in Customs / Foter / CC BY-NC-SA A post about writing accountability is way overdue, I think. I recently participated in a writing challenge with the #writerrecharge. It was a great way to stay on track and get the word count out each day. I miss it. I didn’t sign up for the latest challenge, Spring Writing Bootcamp because I thought I would be too busy. ha! I don’t think I have written any new work since #writerrecharge ended. I regret not getting in on SWB but there is hope for me yet. I am going to Mid South
