Book Launches, that’s what she said…
…since I am going to be releasing some new work in the near future, I have been filling in the gaps of my time with things like listening to Youtube vids and reading blogs about book launches. What is the best way to do them, and what you can expect from them pre- and post. Like how soon in advance do you plan your blog tour, and try to get reviews, and send out ARCs and …. well, so on. The best thing I’ve written this week…
…started out like this : “This is a story about redemption. Not about a soul, or goods, but about a mother who wants to find her daughter.” Isn’t that cool? The whole piece is the best thing I’ve written in a long while. It’s action-packed, kickass heroine, and ooey gooey fun. Can’t you see the trailer already? If this thing makes it to completion, the trailer will rock hard. And then I totally have been procrastinating ever since.Sometimes I need to watch a girly movie with girly subjects. Book Trailer for An Unexpected Performance!
As promised, I have been working on creating a book trailer for AUP. I intended on creating it in iMovie or Windows Movie Maker, or some other easy to do-available software. Of course, my hubby wouldn’t hear of it! He created it for me, with my directorial input. I picked the photos, and the music, and the arrangement of it all and he worked his magic putting it all together. I think it turned out well. I hope you will too! Thanks for liking it on Youtube-

Book Trailers
I actually am not a newbie to book trailers, after all, they have been around since what? 2003? I mean it was all the rage in the early 2000s and has sort of fallen off — but STILL pretty important when it comes to promotional tools. The two I have had done for me were done by a friend for free, when she was just getting her feet wet with them.
