Why is everything so expensive?

Why is everything so expensive?

Why is everything so expensive?

Or better yet, why can’t we have something for free? I think life is just too darn expensive and something needs to change. I know what you are thinking…Kim is posting on her blog TWICE in one week! Oh, my goodness. What am I up to now? Well, I am going to tell you. As I write this, I am sitting in a hot house. No, really. My air has gone out. And y’all–it is HOT in central Florida right now. The good news is the repairman says he can get the part and have me back up and cooled

Joy from writing or happiness, which is it?

Joy from writing or happiness, which is it?

Or does writing something only make you happy? Joy is often mistaken for happiness. Joy from writing something and being happy about it seems interchangeable. Writing, a business you say?

But, no, not business writing! Here I am again, writing on my blog for the third time this week. What is WRONG with me???? (I think it is insomnia, really) But I am committed to putting out some new content this year. That includes blogging, books, etc. So, hang with me for a minute. So, you have likely heard (even from me!) that writing is not just art. It is also a business by many these days. They are turning out books on regular release dates, marketing (which really means spending money they haven’t made yet) and promoting their work
