Catching up – aka taking a deep breath before the plunge
…yes, the block has been broken and I am ON THE ROAD again writing. So my posts may be a little fewer and farther between. But I am thinking of you…I really am.
So here is what is new…
I am also doing art-tastic things. I am creating book covers and will soon unveil a book cover design website!! Of late, I have been doing zentangles like mad and have now pulled out the old watercolors. Inspiration abounds!

And oh, my goodness! Reading is going so well. I have to thank my good friend, Valia Lind VL’s blog for her giveaway which I won some time ago. I just finished Meant to Be and it was SOOOO GOOD!!!
The book is YA, set in London, and written in a very easy style that makes reading effortless. I needed that after my reading stretch with George R.R. Martin’s third book which was SOO involved it was like taking a journey to an elaborate laboratory.
So anyway…MTB is where an American girl goes with her class for their junior class trip to London. Her teacher sets them all up in pairs and Julia gets paired with a sort of class clown- ne’er do well- named Jason. She only wants to take in the glorious-ness of London and fulfill her love of everything Shakespeare, but her “buddy” has different ideas.
Many adventures ensue and you should really go out and read this book because I did and I loved it.
And other than that my dears, I am writing….writing..writing. I have started a new twist on an old historical YA – began evolving a story out of my memoir into a short story maybe a novella so far entitled Friendship Bracelet, and am still thinking about how to destroy Loran Rudder and rewrite it.
Don’t forget my book An Unexpected Performance is on sale on Kindle for $2.99!!

I hope you are having a great week thus far!
