I feel like I have just given birth. Well, starting a business can be a little like birthing something, right? You scream and holler and hang onto something and viola! There she is!
Business is a bit different
Okay, so maybe it isn’t quite that way, but it is pretty EXHILARATING! At least, it is for me and those around me who are a part of this big new world. For us, this big world wide web is a landscape of changes. Even the tools are changing every day! Unfortunately, I didn’t have a ton of backing (meaning money!) for this venture, but I have a lot of help, and I have a desire to succeed.
Owning a business is like putting something sweet and sour in your mouth. You don’t know whether to swallow it or spit it out. It isn’t just one month of trying stuff out, it’s a lifetime of effort put into one venture. Most importantly, being a solopreneur is one of the most gratifying things one can do these days. Put it out there, work hard at getting it noticed, and smile. Smile, smile, smile!
This whole process has been a learning experience. Some things that I thought would work flawlessly have tanked, and some stuff that I had no idea what to do with turned out to gain a lot of fans and friends. I want to say that I appreciate each and every one of you who has followed me through social media and right into the business world.

Oh, and did I mention I am working on the next Shannon Wallace book?
