My first real post of 2018
In my last post, my New Years goals post, I said I was going to do a few things differently this year. I really did mean it. But so far? In 24 days of the new year, I have written 7000 words. That’s it. Not much to crow about! I would like to have been closer to 15,000 words, or more.

But sometimes the best laid plans of mice and men…yada yada yada.
I have been busy with other things.
I was supposed to travel to Florida this month but Mother Nature saw to it that didn’t happen. Five delays and one cancellation of my flight and voila! I am not going to see sunny beaches. And so … that sort of set the tone for the month. It hasn’t been the greatest.
Yeah, I know, sometimes it is that way.
I lost a vacation, my kids lost their grandmother *yes, this happened!*, and the rest of the world has lost its mind over the Tide Pods craziness. Someone started a trend whereby people are EATING (or at least biting into) Tide Pods.

HUH???
Is it any wonder that I write fiction?
And February is shaping up to be another weird month. I intend on doing a few things though. I have a new co-host lined up for Writer Groupie Podcast. He will bring a lot of new ideas to the show, and give me more time to produce a better podcast. We will be manning the mike together for most of the episodes, so if you like a good banter back and forth between hosts, and interesting topics of discussion, then you might want to check us out in the coming weeks.
And if you want to be a guest on the show, drop us a line at Writer Groupie Podcast.
The show has a Facebook page, a Twitter page, and a website as well as Youtube Channel and Itunes account.
Until next time, hope you’re having a lovely January!
