Time to gear up for fall!

Time is moving forward at a rapid rate, don’t you think?? After we returned from vacation (yes, I still have to post images!) the job has consumed me and writing has really been taking the rest of my time.

We made a trip to Best Buy recently and I have a new laptop. It was way past time for one. The old one had gotten slow and sluggish. My dear hubby also fixed me up with a big screen so I can work on two screens at a time. OMG. I am so spoiled!

I have been working on The Case of the Missing Body to get it ready for you in a much bigger way. Can anyone say SERIAL??? A BIG thanks to all of you who have helped by reading it and finding my errors/typos and for making suggestions. It is coming in time!

Gift card season is soon upon us — that’s the time I am going to be flat-out running at my job, so working hard to get things set up now on the writing end before I am so busy. You know, it’s hard to get home in the evening and pass by the couch calling me!

September is looking to be a quiet month for us, but October will be busy. I am going to be supporting a few of my local writing friends at their signings and what not. You have to pay it forward, people. Go out and support local writers! Buy their books and leave reviews. It is vital for us.

I am scheduled for a writing retreat this fall too, and am getting a bit excited at the prospect. More on that soon.

Somewhere in all this planning and activity I really have to get out in the yard and winterize it. Sheesh. I need a clone.
