How to Write Series : How to make a plot board

How to Write series continues!! Welcome to the first instructional video ever created by yours truly for the purpose of aiding writers. It turned out to be the funniest thing I have ever seen once completed. I could have edited out the parts that probably should have been edited out, but honestly? They just added to the silliness.

So if you are in need of a good laugh today, this is the place to be.

How to Write series presents “How to Make a Plot Board” and in this video we learn:

  • What tools to use
  • How to draw lines
  • How to count sequences
  • How Kim failed art in Kindergarten
  • What good post its can be
  • And the fact that you can get them in lots of sizes and colors
  • I hope your July is going smoothly and you are getting a lot written. I am almost finished with chapter three! Coming up next? A contest to NAME THE BOOK that is being written here on the blog. If you have any ideas already, get them written down. You will win a copy of my Ten Tips for Getting that Book Written for entering.

And now… the video : Also known as Kim is a comedienne and didn’t even know it.

    1. OK, I watched it with interest, and chuckled a bit here and there, but I’m not sure what the plot board is supposed to do for me. You’ve probably already figured out that I’m kind of dense at times, so maybe a write up would help to further explain what the board does and how to use it.

BTW, I love your Southern accent.

      1. hahahaha oh Paul…thank you for saying this! I didn’t even know I did not tell the “now what we do with the plot board is” part. I will have to make another post now!
