Favorite Children’s Books

Okay- I am so certain that I am going to date myself in this post, I am almost scared to post it! But here goes: What is my favorite children’s book?

Well, it is totally in the top 100 of a list of children’s books that I found here

It is

    Green Eggs and Ham

by Dr. Seuss.

Yep. Can’t help it. It is my favorite. I could read it over and over, and sometimes I recite it to myself just for fun. Just to make myself smile on an otherwise dreary day. I do not like green eggs and ham, I do not like them, Sam I am.

Yep. It’s lyrical, and silly, and well, probably the best book ever written. I used to have a huge stack of Seuss books, including, Cat in the Hat, Fox in Socks, One Fish, Two Fish, and Hop on Pop, but as years went by, they disappeared. Maybe I will get bold one day and go and buy ALL of them all over again.

Now that thought makes me SMILE!

77/365, you're never fully dressed without a smile!
